DT001 Comes to Life
A defining milestone came with the unveiling of DT001, the first P72 revealed in full production specification. What began as a concept rooted in 1965, and introduced to the world in 2019, has now been fully realised. DT001 is a clear expression of our philosophy: mechanical purity, human craftsmanship, and emotional design brought together without compromise. From its hand-assembled V8 to its single-piece carbon fibre monocoque, every element of the P72 exists to create a connection between driver and machine.

The journey culminated at Monterey Car Week, where the P72 made its West Coast debut, surrounded by a setting that celebrates heritage, artistry, and timeless automotive culture. These moments reinforced what De Tomaso represents today: a shared appreciation for thoughtful engineering and authentic design.
